Lunch and Learn
On the second Wednesday of each month, ETBOA holds a 1 hour course at Grand Buffet on Clinton Highway. The topics change monthly so check here for the most recent information.
Doors open at 11 am - Business meeting at 11:30, training from 12-1. One CEU of State and ICC preferred provider credit.

David Sproul Training Days
Each year, ETBOA holds a two-day training event at the Sevierville Civic Center. The 2025 event was held on February 27th and 28th. Thanks to all that attended and supported the chapter.

Other Training Opportunities
Throughout the year, ETBOA along with other organizations will hold conferences & daily training classes that offer CEU's to our membership.
The MEMA Floodplain Management Bureau and FEMA will be holding an L0273 Course: Managing Floodplain Development Through the NFIP in Oxford, MS at the Northeast MS Electric Power Association Building . This is a 4-day course designed to focus on the NFIP and concepts of floodplain management, flood maps and studies, ordinance administration, and the relationship between floodplain management and flood insurance. This course will be Monday through Thursday from 8 am to 5 pm during the week of August 3-6, 2026.
There is no fee for the course. However, MEMA will not reimburse any expenditures for the course (ex. lodging and food).
